WHERE TO STAY?
Gather together in one of our cottages and experience complete comfort and privacy. Located a short distance from the lodge, our 4-bed cottages at Sand Valley serve as luxurious outposts intimately nestled into the rugged sand barrens and oak savannas that surround them. Each cottage provides 4 single bedrooms with a full kitchen, living room, fire pits, enclosed porches, and outdoor amenities.
Our 8-bed cottages offer a serene setting perfect for groups of 8. The Lake Leopold Cottages are located on the highest ridge on the property, overlooking Lake Leopold, a series of exposed sand dunes, and Sand Valley’s 9th hole. With a large common room, kitchenette, laundry, a spacious outdoor deck, and a large fire-pit, your group will be able to re-connect with one another and recharge in comfort.

While Sand Valley provides great room amenities and a variety of equipment for all of your indoor and outdoor fun, you may require additional items for the ultimate experience. Below is a list that can help you prepare for your visit.

Day 1:
Check-in after 4 pm
Unpack and settle in
Dinner in Aldo’s Farm & Table
Gather in Mammoth Bar or your cottage for board games
Day 2:
Late breakfast in your cottage
Grab your winter gear and hit one of the Fat Tire Loops
Lunch & warm-up in Mammoth Bar
Ice-skating, broomball, or Pond Hockey on the ice (conditions permitting)
Enjoy a family-style meal from one of our buffet options in your cottage
Sit around the firepit toasting marshmallows and making s’mores
Day 3:
Breakfast
Sledding or cross-country skiing (conditions permitting)
Snack in Mammoth Bar & Lounge
Grill-it-Yourself in your cottage
Night round of bocce ball or board games
Day 4:
Breakfast in Aldo’s
Hike one of the trails
Warm-up with a hot chocolate or hot apple cider
Pack up and check out by 11 am
